• When you contact us by phone, we may record the call for the purposes stated above and for operator education to ensure smooth business operations. Aside from the above, for communications, response management, and sending related materials concerning those who contacted or visited us.

We will not use personal information beyond the reasonable scope of purposes notified at the time of collection. If use beyond these purposes is required, we will notify you in advance.

Handling of credit card information in internet transactions

For customers using credit card payments, we verify the validity of account numbers and credit cards through the services of GMO Payment Gateway, Inc., a payment agency approved by the Mobile Content Forum. Your credit card information is sent to GMO Payment Gateway, but we do not retain this information.

Voluntariness of providing personal information by the individual

Providing personal information is voluntary, but it is necessary for our business operations. Insufficient, inaccurate, or refusal to provide information (including deletion; hereinafter collectively referred to as “non-provision of personal information”) may hinder our operations, prevent product delivery, or cause failure to provide adequate services, important communications may not reach you, or you may have to carry out procedures yourself instead of us. These consequences are your responsibility. Also, we may be unable to respond to inquiries if personal information is not provided.

About business consignees

For Internet sales and related operations such as shipping, payment processing, credit screening, after-sales service, and information on new products/services, we may disclose minimal necessary personal information to business contractors. We enter into personal information protection agreements with them and supervise their compliance appropriately.
Note 1) Our business contractors include manufacturers handling direct shipments from breweries, delivery companies for product shipping, payment agencies, printing and dispatch agencies for invoice labels, credit card companies and financial institutions, payment system companies, credit information agencies, and debt collection agencies.

Regarding provision of personal information to third parties

We appropriately protect personal information and, except as permitted by the Personal Information Protection Law and other laws, do not disclose or provide personally identifiable information to third parties without customer consent. Disclosure and provision occur only with identified recipients and content and customer consent. However, exceptions below apply.

• When based on laws and regulations
• When it is necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person involved
• When it is especially necessary for the improvement of public health or promotion of sound upbringing of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person involved
• When cooperation is necessary for national or local government agencies or their delegates to perform duties prescribed by law, and obtaining consent would likely hinder the performance of those duties

About Security

We appoint a person responsible for management when handling customers' personal information and manage it properly while striving to prevent leakage. We also implement appropriate and reasonable safety measures against unauthorized external access, loss, destruction, alteration, etc., protecting customers' personal information.
